Alison Hall's blog
If you are a little nervous about ICT, are a newbie or just need some help we have set up an ICT mentoring group on edna Groups. The group welcomes the absolute novice to information technologies. We'll be putting together a range of activities in what will be a very supportive environment for people to work through as a group or at their own pace. Some of the things we'll be covering include general use of the Internet, Office Applications, File sharing, Collaborating online and much more.
So drop on by and have a look at the first set of activities - more will be added soon!
Oh and we are also looking for those who are a little
more experienced to become mentors as well! If you are interested or
feel you have some knowledge on a particular topic to share give me
a hoy!

It also includes news about online projects, the free Australian Schools Calendar, and upcoming edna workshops which will be held in each state/territory.

During this time it may be possible to access your Group, but unlikely that you will be able to contribute to forums etc.
This upgrade applies to all 1500 groups which currently accommodate 20,000 members. At the end of the process we will have upgraded to Moodle 1.9.1
We apologise for any inconvenience that this might cause, but are excited about the opportunities the upgrade will allow.
If, after the upgrade, you experience difficulties, please email groups@edna.edu.au , or contact the Professional Learning and Online Communities team at edna on (08) 8334 3210 and ask for Lynley Clark, Kerry Johnson or myself.
