Focus!!!!

I was feeling a little overwhelmed with the task of narrowing down to a focus question.   I find it really hard to reign myself in and stay focussed on one thing. I also work part time so I wanted something that would fit in to my program rather than being an extra.  After much thought about many different ideas I think I finally have one.   I am going to investigate how I can use Bee Bots to enhance narrative writing.  Now that I have a focus, the ideas on how to intergrate this in to the curriculum are beginning to flow.  Thinking about using Possum Magic as a starting point, making a big map for the BB's to navigate and maybe trying out  Google Tour to map out the adventure. With the ultimate aim being the learners writing their own narrative, creating a mat for BB(maybe as a group) and maybe video and audio recording their story. Will have to give this more thought. I'm really quite excited about taking the BB's in to my room.  I am anticipating a lot of enthusiastic learners (fingers crossed) and hopefully will grab in those reluctant wrtiters too.  Can see the need for a discussion on caring for BB's and working cooperatively in a group considering we have 8 for a class of 25.  Need to break my ideas down further and get down to the nuts and bolts of what's going to happen in the classroom.  Think it will be great!
