Sandcastle-a-thon
Some of you may have noticed the responses to the Sandcastle-a-thon on the website. I have also attached the parents comments this week. There are 125 comments - I thought some of you might be interested in reading.
So what now?
We have flagged Week 4 as the possible week for holding the Sandcastle-a-thon and have the following ideas:-
*Morning only 9-12
*Year 5 prepare BBQ back at school as part of leadership program
*Fundraising suggestions - arts program? readers? sustainability project eg vegie garden?
From you?
*Your thoughts on the above
*Any volunteers for organisation
Classroom visits this term
Where has the time gone? I am feeling a little disconnected
from classrooms and now that you are all settled and well and truly
in the routine of things I would be keen to get to know your classes
and spend some time with you and your class. Rather than just doing
the random drop in I thought you might like to invite me to your
room - happy to do anything - help with reading groups, watch a
presentation, sit in on a lesson - I'd rather be doing something
than just watching but I'll leave that up to you. It would be nice
to get to all of you before the term is out!! Give it some thought
or send an invitation my way! Thanks.
