Examples are given for PC and Mac, and include the use of the Flip Video, iMovie, and MovieMaker. The topic that is used as example is having a homebirth. Recently I was called on to script edit and produce a video that summed up a 50-plus page research report. I had my doubts as to how it would translate to video without boring people to death with charts and graphs -- but I think it ended up working. Every year a Canadian educator does an annual report about his school and how teachers are using e-learning -- that inspired me to give this a go. I've had some feedback that people saying this video made them want to read the report. So -- my mind has changed now as to what a digital story is -- sometimes it's fancy -- sometimes it's fact. What do you think - are digital stories define-able? Or is video and multimedia just another communications tool?
