The ISL Teacher Development Centres will be the primary support mechanism for teachers of the new Course in 2009 and beyond. Each TDC will be attached to a network of schools and led by a coordinator based in one of these schools. The coordinators' role will be to mentor teachers of the new course within their network of schools, and to facilitate the creation, sharing and review of relevant teaching and learning resources.Keywords:PRIVATE

Radio Australia is the international shortwave, satellite and now On Line service of the ABC. Radio Australia presents news and information in English, Mandarin Chinese, Indonesian, Tok Pisin, Vietnamese and Khmer. Radio Australia On line present up to date news bulletins in all six languages and display them in native text ( through software specially developed by the ABC)
The Group will provide an e-network for Gippsland VCELOTE teachers. International and migrant students can learn English at one of the largest university language centres in Australia. Local students can study modern languages, language teacher education, and take a range of English and other language tests. The website includes course information and language tests available.
The site provides access to over six-million information links: search engines, web directories, government websites, digital library projects and syndicated news headlines will all be available in nearly 60 languages other than English.
IML is a Queensland language services provider offering courses for everyone in over 30 languages using a communicative approach to teaching and learning. All four skill areas are covered: listening, speaking, reading and writing for application in authentic situations and a collaborative team effort is encouraged in class. A cultural segment is integrated with the language acquisition program and focuses on general background studies pertaining to the countries and peoples where the targeted language is in use.
This Registered Training Organisation offers Certificate II, III and IV courses in languages. The Centre provides courses in Chinese, English, French, German, Greek, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, and Russian. Courses are offered at Adelaide and Melbourne campuses.
