I am a Teacher Librarian currently temporarily placed (TPT)at Hendon Primary School.
We are on a Campus and service three primary schools and a kindergarten. In total, wecater forsome 850 students plus the staff. The layout of the current Resource Centre includes multiple areas which have been added to over the past 20 years.Whilstthis has given us a lot of space, the roomsdo not flow and fail to work efficiently. They areat different levelsand contain odd angles and corners. Our circulation desk is not only too low, it is too small and poorly located. The work room is a good size but our desk/ benches are at student height and the room has poor storage facilities.
