It provides resources to assist in the implementation of the Sport Industry Training Package(SRS 99) and the Outdoor Recreation Industry Training Package(SRO 99) for VET in Schools programs.

The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) leads the development of elite sport in Australia. It offers scholarships annually to about 600 athletes in 32 separate programs covering 26 sports. The AIS also operates an Athletes with Disabilities scholarship program.
