This report documents what was learnt as a range of government, education and human service organisations collaborated to build language, literacy and numeracy (LLN)1 capacity in a local government region. It's key findings are categorised as networking (past, present and future); building knowledge about educators and LLN learners; and access and circulation of information.
This fund supports Aboriginal artists and the preservation and revitalisation of Aboriginal art forms and traditions. It has been created to develop Aboriginal arts programs, community capacity building and partnerships. Applicants can choose to submit either a written or verbal presentation. Aboriginal artists and Aboriginal organisations are invited to apply for this fund. The Financial Literacy Foundation has been established to provide Australians with the opportunity to build their capacity to better manage their money. The Understanding Money website includes information targeting consumers to help people manage their money; and also pages providing advice, case studies, and access to quality education materials to help educators and trainers deliver quality financial literacy education and training in schools, ACE, VET and the workplace.
