Google has launched YouTube EDU, which centralizes the content from over 100 universities and colleges (get list here). This robust collection gives you access to lectures by professors and world-renowned thought leaders, new research and campus tours. At the moment, you can access over 200 full courses from leading universities

Vocalo.org allows sharing of audio, video, and images. And it then broadcasts this content on local radio (89.5 fm in Chicago!)

Edublogs.tv is a great idea. Easy to use, upload or use channels to link to content already uploaded (youtube). And audio. Multimedia much much easier.

Heard about Mogulous (see links) via elearning insights podcast with laurel papworth (silkcharm). Interesting and worth a listen. Laurel would be great value wrto the 'community' leg of your stool.

Today all media sharing sites seem to be blocked in our NSW primary school. Including podcasting. Hopefully it's just a temporary glitch.

Just posted a URL for Paltalk that has some interesting features, which include: video chat rooms, frequently chatted friends as Favorites and Pals, daily live streaming of radio/video shows into chat rooms for discussion, effective search function, and still in beta - the ability to embed a vidcast on your Web page or blog.
