Here's a site for ESL learners of all levels which I've created and had translated into several languages. Nearly all the links I've included are free sites. http://www.englishtalk.info.htm

Everybody - check this wonderful site out. Although it's about teaching maths to adults, it challenges our teaching. I found this most inspiring - some really good ideas. http://www.nald.ca/library/learning/mathman/mathman.pdf

Hi Rebecca-- regarding adding friends outside of edna, you can't in here -- they have to be part of the community. To add a friend, just hunt people down via interest or name, then click Add colleague under their names. Cheers! KerryJ

Hi Rebecca - enjoyed meeting you today. Please send me an email if you're interested in another me.edu.au session online! : )

Currently, I am learning how-to-learn (again!) through Open Universities Australia, exploring the program the University offers to get older students ...

Colleagues can be found and added to your Colleagues list through the site search. When you add a colleague their activity will appear on your What's been happening page.

What's been happening is your personal news feed. It keeps you up to date with the activity of your Colleagues and the Communities you have joined.

What I've been doing helps you to aggregate all of your online activity in one place. RSS feeds from external services can be added to your profile and all your other activity from me.edu.au will display here. This helps colleagues keep up to date with what you are doing online. To add an RSS feed to your profile go to Edit Profile and then click on the Feeds tab.

Any message that you initiate or participate in will display in your messages area.

Bookmark your favourite online sites and resources to share and collaborate with your colleagues and your communities.

Any bookmarks you have added will display in the 'My Bookmarks' area and can also be found through the site search. Existing online bookmarks can be incorporated into your me.edu.au bookmarks and displayed here by adding the RSS of your external bookmarking service to the 'Feeds' tab in 'Edit Profile'.
