Graham: have you tried out the search in me.edu.au recently: quite powerful. I am promoting a tag showme for blogs, and any other entry to identify ideas and practical info for teachers. You might be able to use it or suggest some others use it to show their stuff. Try a search on showme
Hi Graham,
Are your ears buzzing ...you got a mention
re your students connection with Alska.
cheers, Gundi
I'm not sure what people will do in here. It does remind me a bit of facebook... in that it will just be a place to network.
EG, I know that I can find certain people and contact them via facebook when I know that they won't check there email etc.
I guess that we will have to wait and see. I do think that I need to come back in here more regularly to check on it.

Hi Graham
I'm getting round to doing something with this site.
I'm going to add people from your list. Any thing else that you think I should do to get up to speed?
I didn't know you could do that Graham - that gives you people who have made their details public, but still useful.
Kerrie, I just hit the Search button and went through the entire list - pretty boring way to do it, I know.
Graham, you said in your Twitter that you had "scrolled the list" -presumably of people who have turned up in me.edu.au Where did you access that list?
John, I think that your point is true but the sector of education would also be valuable. I also assume that people will start adding those who are in the same discussion communities as themselves.
I think the members' names should be followed by the name of their town or state. You can then quickly identify those individuals that live in your area. Your thoughts?
Hi Graham
Howdy! I think this will be a good place to meet other Australian educators and provide opportunities for more f2f meetings. There are not many bloggers in my neck of the woods and I hope this tool will assist in networking in my local area.
