YouCube is one of these extremely useless tools you come across on the web until of course you find a use for it. And today I did. We were looking at music videos over time and how they have changed from the 60's through to 2010 and YouCube was the perfect tool for kids to see how video clips have changed with a 6 faced comparison. I am sure you can find a use for it too but it is just a bit of fun nonetheless. Check it out here.

Pretty cool little poetry tool for kids that is dead easy to use. Just type in a word and hold down the alt key and the 'Rhymanator" will find some for you. You can find it here.

Mapquest - All your geography Basics at your fingertips.
Mapquest is a great resource if you want to find out simple and quick information about countries from around the world. Dead easy to navigate and not overrun with useless info. If you are a Geography expert you may feel a little under whelmed by it though. Check it out here.

What's been happening is your personal news feed. It keeps you up to date with the activity of your Colleagues and the Communities you have joined.


What I've been doing helps you to aggregate all of your online activity in one place. RSS feeds from external services can be added to your profile and all your other activity from me.edu.au will display here. This helps colleagues keep up to date with what you are doing online. To add an RSS feed to your profile go to Edit Profile and then click on the Feeds tab.


Any message that you initiate or participate in will display in your messages area.


Bookmark your favourite online sites and resources to share and collaborate with your colleagues and your communities.


Any bookmarks you have added will display in the 'My Bookmarks' area and can also be found through the site search. Existing online bookmarks can be incorporated into your me.edu.au bookmarks and displayed here by adding the RSS of your external bookmarking service to the 'Feeds' tab in 'Edit Profile'.
