About Me

I am an ICT teacher at Wilderness School in Adelaide after 20 years in CESA schools in many roles. I have had an interest in ICT since the early 80s and will confess my first computer was a Tandy TRS 80 which I spent hundreds of hours programming in BASIC...then moved on to Commodore 64s...haven't things changed!!! Passionate with the use of IT in schools and integration into the curriculum. Enjoy leading teachers astray by presenting PD sessions :-) Member of the committee of the Computers of Education Groups of SA (CEGSA)...like all professional groups a committed group of people!

Sue, the copyright council link is very interesting: a good source of information that does not look too legalistic, from one quick look. Also would be good if you could add a little bit to your profile that appears at the top of your page. (see edit my profile) have you tried the blog?

I want evidence and an excuse for taking some kids out of class for extra time with one another and I also want general ideas about what to do with them when I have them. We have a reasonable number of identified kids already who need more than just classroom extension. Perhaps a coffee in the first week of Jan when we have both had a holiday!

Sue I am taking on the role of SHIP next year and as the oracle on the subject I would love to do coffee - real or virtual - about current practice and for a general brain picking, info swapping session. Happy to share anything new I know with you. Judy
