The Plan

Therese and I have a plan to use a wiki to motivate and involve a group of reluctant learners in year 8. The Learning Topic will be How can we use a wiki to motivate a year 8 Science class, with some reluctant learners, to develop an interest in ecology?

Therese is currently setting-up a wikispace within the newcastleder wiki. We will ask students to register with the wiki and to upload a photograph that represents their backyard. We will use the wiki to develop a collaborative learning space, with focus on food chains and food webs related to the local environment and Australian ecosystems.
