Here are the activities for June and July:
World Oceans Day (8 June)
This
interactive resource suitable for Secondary students requires learners
to place continents, oceans, countries and cities in the correct
position on the globe.

World Refugee Day (20 June)
Against all odds is an online game suitable for Secondary students
created by the United Nations Refugee Agency. The game allows learners
to experience what it is like to be a refugee in various scenarios. A
teacher's guide is provided.

World Music Day (21 June)
This
resource allows Junior Primary students to learn about sound. The site
features online activities including an audio memory game and an
activity to test your hearing.

FIFA World Cup 2010 (11 June-11
July)
This online project from OzProjects, allows students of
all ages to celebrate the FIFA World Cup 2010 whilst also learning
about some of the global issues facing South Africa and participating
nations.
