Title : Our new library
Description : Linden Park Schools have a new reception to year 7 library. After years of managing in two separate old libraries, we think we have reached nirvana in this new site. It's a new standalone building, centrally located on the school site. It's spacious, light and airy with a greatview of the city from the western window. Combining the two libraries has been a challenge - that term that covers all manner of trauma- but it is starting to feel like a really busy and vibrant community place. The down side is the fact that the new building does not include a teacher resources area; these are housed in satellite areas around the school. Maybe the new round of funding will help add some extensions for the teacher resources. It seems re-development never finishes!
